I uploaded an image to this month?s BOTM last week and having a look through the images today at other members? makes I noticed mine was no longer there. I?ve now uploaded again. Why would it have disappeared in the first place? Do they get taken down for any reason? I took my image in panorama mode, is that an issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Everyone. Just wondering if you could answer a question for me please. I?m working on the sun for the block of the month, panel 3. Do I overlap the paper pattern or do I butt up the 2 sides to make the circle. Thank you.

Hi ?you join the lines and tape ?the lines shouldn?t overlap. I have attached Debbie?s tip video on using printed patterns as she shows how to join the pieces here https://www.halfyardsewingclub.com/tips/using-printed-patterns I hope this helps.

Help!!!! I have made the strips for BOTM but I don't understand how to cut them - where am I measuring the 2 and 3/4 inches from?

As Debbie said on Saturday it is not a race and you can leave it until you have more confidence or when you are putting things together and you get a feel for how it should look. You have done the hardest bit putting all the blocks together x

Hi sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I wasnt sure where to try. I bought the large shoulder bag with purse pattern at the weekend from c and c. the pattern says cut out ur paper pieces. it hasn't come with any or any measurements that I can find to make them. Sorry if im being stupid xx

Hello. Advice please. I am making the Zip lips clutch using oilcloth/ laminate and am at the point where I am top stitching either side of the zip. What needle should I use as of course it's quite a thickness to sew through. Would a denim needle work? Your advice much appreciated please. Jane Fx

I have done it but the instructions threw me it took a lot of reading and re reading walking away and many cups of tea . Iam very happy it?s done and you can do it . I think the pictures threw me having the white background and white and blue fabric made it difficult to see
