Hello, l’m wondering if there is a larger chart for the free advent calendar in cross stitch. As it is, it’s far too small to read at all

Good morning all. Iam making the Santa Express advents calendar but iam a bit confused about the size of the engine roof (blue and white ) as it does not match the picture. I wonder if it should be 2 pieces of fabric ? Thank you

I don’t think Debbie used a walking foot on this one but you certainly could. Just practice your zig zag stitch to join the blocks together and have fun.

When I stayed with my daughter in Cornwall a couple of years ago I went to the fabric shop in Redruth and was completely hypnotised by the amount of fabric rolls they had conveniently I have more than just a few here to use and would be grateful for a few ideas on what to use them

Aside from projects specifically for jelly rolls, look through the projectz on this site, bags, storsge items, home ites etc. Msny of thiese would look good in fabric created by sewing strips together. Or even sewing strips together horizontally. Then cut instrips vertically and sewing together in a different format to make a fabric consisting of squares. Good luck

Hi, I'm having a crisis of confidence! I'm making the Chumleys Birthday bear and I can't work out how to sew the snout onto the tummy. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I would place the nose where I want it and stab on with pins and then do a stitch around just turning the edge of the nose over very slightly to the inside…you won’t see the stitches as they get lost in the fleece. I always add a last bit of stuffing into the nose in the gap just before I finish stitching. Hope this helps.

the lovely patterned zips - is there a way to have the zip sewn to the outside? - so that you can see all the pattern rather than it being hidden in the seam?
