Hi. Has anybody made the kimono? I want to make it in a size 24 and am wondering what the measurements would need to be across the back. Can anybody help please?
Jules replied: 31 May 21 at 10:23
Thanks Debbie. I have managed to figure out the sizing and made it yesterday. I am happy with how it turned out and am planning on making more.

I've just printed off the Maddie pattern and I'm just wondering will I be okay to use 100 % cotton to make her with ?
Shirley replied: 31 May 21 at 08:18
Hi Erica. Debbie has some lovely skin tone cotton on her web site. I have just finished Maddie, just need to make her some clothes. It was lovely fabric to work with.

I am going to make three Pencil Case from Debbie's tutorial, for my Grandchildren. However I am going to make it slightly smaller. Do I still cut out 2 inch squares in the corners, or do I make them smaller. Still learning! Thank you for all of your live sessions Debbie. I catch up with them later but soon, due to retirement, I will be able to watch Wednesday afternoons live.

Thank you Alice. I am making them 12 x 6, so will adjust accordingly.

Good morning, I am new to the club and newly returned to sewing after 40 odd years. I have made the craft bag following Debbie's pattern on YouTube. The zipped pocket inside the bag collapses in use. What if anything do you advise to use to stiffen the pocket? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks Lynda
Lynda replied: 24 May 21 at 15:24
Thanks Debbie, I will try that next time. Thank you so much for the tutorials and the Wednesday and Saturday chats and makes.

Can I use invisible thread on my Bernina B325 to hem multicoloured curtains ? Is so what make/type of thread do I buy. Thanks
Megan replied: 23 May 21 at 18:08
Iv tried using invisible thread before but it tangled up and snapped, I think your better off choosing one colour like white or even getting a multicoloured thread which you can get on hobby craft guttermann: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/gutermann-multicoloured-sulky-cotton-thread-30-weight-300m-4106/566272-1044
