Hi everyone. I have tried to redeem my code for our offer. I get the message below. My membership doesn't expire until next year. Please note that if you are on an Annual membership, and have a 24 month gift code, you will need to wait until your current membership has expired before applying your code. You currently have an existing trial or gift membership, please wait until this has expired before you apply a gift code. Is this correct?

scroll further down the questions. . this is from hysc Hello everyone! Thanks for bearing with us! If you have bought a Sewing Street subscription and are on an existing ANNUAL membership the code application is unable to process immediately, so instead we ask you to cancel your existing annual subscription, then when prompted when you log back in when it ends, to put in the code and redeem it. Thanks for your patience!

My payment for another year and my order for the 2yrs has over lapped one another. Can I get my money back for the 1yr one or not?wud I need to apply for it or would they just know from the accounts folk? I have almost all Debbie's books if any are already bought can we request others?
Su replied: 5 Jun 25 at 19:23
I sent a message about the books, as I have most of Debbie's books requesting the half yard winter collection and no other, they replied that they have no control as to the 3 free books sent. I have build a bag backpacks and refashion books both I already have got and have put a plea out to swap my 2 books for the one am looking for .

Any ideas why my top thread breaks whilst trying to learn freemotion embroidery?
Laura replied: 2 Jun 25 at 11:29
Apart from the normal things that you will probably have checked eg feed dogs lowered, stitch length to zero, machine and bobbin threaded properly 😊 I wonder if you are using a special thread that is too big for needle eye and whether it is catching on the spool anywhere. Some specialist threads like to be upright rather than sideways so try your upright spool holder 😊. Debbie has given some advice on free motion embroidery in the tip section so that might be useful . Hope this helps 🤞

Question for whoever manages the countdown clock on the website: If it’s 1600 UK time, what time is it in London? Is it 4pm?
Laura replied: 1 Jun 25 at 09:05
Not sure about the clock issue ..might need some testing by HYSC as it does count down in the UK. It is necessary to refresh if you have logged in early and a few of us had issues yesterday and had to log off and then log on again to watch the live. I hope it is better for you next month.

Anyone know what happened to the live stream? No notices on facebook.
Laura replied: 1 Jun 25 at 09:06
There were some issues yesterday so worth logging off and logging back in again if you are having problems.

Laura replied: 31 May 25 at 21:33
It is the June main project so should be here tomorrow 😊 🐑
-
How do you get the chat when watching live please
Laura replied: 1 Jun 25 at 09:12
Once you are in the live there should be a chat icon at the top right of the screen and once that’s selected you will get asked your name for the chat function. Enter the name which will show when you make your comment and submit. There were some issues with the chat yesterday so always worth logging off and on again if you think you are not getting full access.
