Use left over pieces of batting. I also understand women used to use their hair that would come out after brushing it.

Hello Tracey I have just purchased an item from Debbi e shore sewing.com.I first signed in as a member to HalfYardSewingClub and went to clicked offers page. Once there it will give you a code (this maybe case sensitive). Go to debbieshoresewing.com and apply the given code there and let them do the rest at checkout. Hope it works for you as it did for me. Kind regards Tina

Hello, I've just returned to sewing after many years' break and and excited to try quilting.? I really like the quilt which was Block of Month last year (I've downloaded all the instructions) and was planning on doing it in Debbie's Dehli fabrics.? I thought of changing the plain white pieces to those in the Dehli fabric range with motifs on, and then do the other triangles in solid coloured fabrics; would this work?? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Hello, I have everything to make a satchel except the leather magnetic buckle. I'd quite like either a brown leather with silvery buckle or a pastel blue leather. Online I've found limited choice but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Any ideas? Many thanks x

Firstly, I'm so pleased I finally joined. There are soo many projects I will do.? I have a question about the elasticated trousers. When drawing up the pattern does Debbie mean I am to add 3 inches both sides of the waist and cruch or altogether (so 1.5 inches either side)? thanks Marian

I would just like to ask what anyone would recommend using instead of the foam? Would fusible fleece work or a heavyweight interfacing??

I love the white fabric that came in the bundle so much! I?ve repaired antique quilts but never made one myself so I?m a little nervous. I am so hesitant to cut into the white fabric. I hope I understand but is the white BG fabric for the front of this quilt and we provide the fabric for the back? I feel really silly asking this question but don?t want to mess it up before I start. Thank you, Nancy J
