I am still having issues with the last two pieces, can anyone help, please
Susan replied: 5 Nov 24 at 15:56
Thank you for your help. The template is now correct. I see that it was the base of the lighthouse that was smaller than it should have been. Luckily only one piece to recut.

Not a question but just an observation if you are making the block of the month, if you want all your flags to face the same way, look at what you have previously done, be consistent - or not!

Great observation! I missed that but will rectify

Hi, what should I use to strengthen a soft polycotton material to make a memory teddy? Would T shirt Quilt fusible interfacing be okay?
Laura replied: 6 Nov 24 at 21:36
I would probably use an interfacing like H200 or a woven G700 interface foe this type of project. I would think the interfacing you mention would be good as it is only to stop your fabric from stretching rather than providing any firmness. Hope this helps.

Anyone else finding the HYSC site painfully slow despite trying on different devices and networks?

I have just printed out the instructions for Block 12 but the template is obviously incorrect. It says there is an error and check the forum. Has this problem beeb solved yet?
HYSC replied: 4 Nov 24 at 08:16
This should be resolved by the end of today (04/11/24), if not soon after. We'll put a post up once this is sorted. Best wishes, team HYSC :) x

FAO: HYSC team and members: The template for the lighthouse has an error - the one named āLighthouse Platformā should read Lighthouse Base to correspond with the fabric cutting.
Mel replied: 1 Nov 24 at 13:54
Great, thank you!

Hi. Iām thinking of making the Penguin Doorstop (as a toy) in fleece fabric. Does anyone know if you can iron fusible craft fleece to the fleece wing or is it better to use a sew in interface? Thank you.
Laura replied: 1 Nov 24 at 12:02
Yes I would iron from the craft fleece side to interface the wing pieces. Perhaps use an iron cloth or a cotton fabric over the interface if you are concerned about the iron touching the craft fleece.

Hi with regards to the folded trivot in september how would you go about making a bigger one? what sizes would you make the squares?
Laura replied: 30 Oct 24 at 09:31
Looks like they go up in 1/2ā increments so you would have to do a full round with the 5ā and then it would be 5 1/2 ā then 6ā etc. Perhaps just try the next step in some scrap fabric to see how it works
