Any recommends for suitable fabric to make blinds for a sunny conservatory that wont fade too much
Debbie replied: 9 Feb 26 at 11:06
Lightweight canvas works well, use black out lining to help prevent fading

Hi everyone, I thought Debbie did a live yesterday as I initially saw something on Facebook but tried to go back since and looked on YouTube but can’t find it anywhere. Can anyone help please. Thanks
Laura replied: 8 Feb 26 at 12:08
Debbie had a glitch saving the live so I think she is still trying to put it up on Facebook and YouTube.

Does anybody know if the batwing top Debbie made recently on the live stream can be made in a knit fabric rather than jersey and if so which knit fabric is best to use or isn’t there enough stretch in a knit fabric. Alternatively can a viscose jersey be used. Thank you

Perfect thanks Debbie. Looking forward to making it as it looks like a very easy but a very pretty and flattering top. Thank you. Ali. 😊

In the pjs pattern , do you have to print out all 54 pages ?
barb replied: 7 Feb 26 at 16:47
Yes, if you are going to construct the pattern yourself. Otherwise you can use the option to get a printer to print it for you.

Hi members Could anybody shed any light on why my cottons keep breaking on one of my machines. The machine brand is a Frister Rossman if that makes any difference. Its a really sturdy nice machine otherwise. Thank you in advance.x
Annabelle replied: 8 Feb 26 at 09:34
Yes, this has happened to me in the past. I started off buying cheap threads and they were constantly breaking. The rule seems to be that if you are unable to break the thread easily with your fingers it should be good to use in the machine. It sounds like you are going along the right lines now though.

On the free patterns for the clothes , all I need to know is how much material required. If the material is say 55” wide then say for my size how many metres I require not in inches. Soo confusing
barb replied: 5 Feb 26 at 08:41
Or use a conversion site like this one https://www.unitconverters.net/length/inches-to-meters.htm
