I'm not sure I have the answer for you but I would say that my walking foot jams in the upward position quite often, I wondered if it was because it wasn't a genuine Janome walking foot. Could this be the problem with yours? I would be interested to know too.

Sorry what type of material is Broadcloth please.
Debbie replied: 20 Dec 20 at 15:37
Originally made from wool, nowadays broadcloth uses cotton, with a tight weave to give the fabric lustre, generally used for shirt making. It wrinkles easily but has a very smart appearance. Hope that helps!

I want to make the lovely baby panels from Debbie into a baby mat /quilt so just want to quilt along the lines/borders of the actual images. So do I pin all three layers (the panel, the batting and the bottom layer and just sew throuhg all layers please ? Thought it would make a lovely easy play mat?
Debbie replied: 10 Dec 20 at 09:25

Why can I not order a book
Studio44 replied: 15 Dec 20 at 14:21
Dear Marie-Anne I believe I have emailed you separately suggesting you use the Book Depository as the mail order costs to Europe are very high unless you are ordering a lot of books. I have also asked our customer services to look out for your order and apply the members discount if they see it. They can also do this retrospectively if it has already gone through. Let us know if you are having problems.
