Anyone doing the block of the month, this months block after step 9 says it should be 5 1/2”, mine is 6 1/4”, do I need to trim it down 🤔
barb replied: 15 Jun 26 at 20:04
if you scroll down there are other posts about this. I wouldn't trim until you come to the making up stage.

About to make the batwing top with the jersey it was made up in. The piece is roughly a square so not sure which sides are the selvedge. It does stretch slightly more one way, is that the selvedge running either side of the fabric. Thank you.

hi CB, Debbie has a sewing with Jersey Tutorial on you tube(approx 4 months ago) maybe worth a look, including the Batwing top with jersey tutorial. In answer to your query, yes it is. hope this helps. I have sewn the Batwing top also with the same fabric Debbie uses I love it very comfortable ,very cool and feather lite to wear. I love the fabrics Debbie gets into her shop. happy sewing :)

Hello, I joined the HYSC recently and don't really understand the system clearly. I had hoped to try the Twisted Cats BOTM but seem to only have the template for the mouse from that block. Are the cats coming at another time or are they accessed from a different source? Jean.
barb replied: 15 Jun 26 at 11:54
Welcome. No templates needed for the cats. These are made by making up squares and joining as shown on the instructions. Read though the steps and all will be clear! Any issue just ask back here Good luck

Hi does anyone know where I can purchase letter templates? I am thinking of making a Happy Birthday banner & wondered what interfacing to use to make a robust but easy to fold banner possibly using Debbie’s House templates. Thank you
Rita H replied: 12 Jun 26 at 20:03
Hi Wendy - On Debbie's website look on Downloads (page 8) there are Alphabet applique shapes, upper & lower case, also numbers and punctuation marks. They may be suitable for your birthday banner.

I am in the process of making the cat block of the month and in step 9 it says the block should be 5 1/2” square but I trimmed mine to 6” square and this meant the final step was correct size wise.
Mandy replied: 15 Jun 26 at 20:59
Mine is 6 1/4 so I’ll take it down to 6”, thank you for posting, I thought it was me
