I asked Debbie your question on the Live this morning and she says that she has one kit left. If you email her on enquiries@debbieshoresewing.com she will discuss with you. It is not showing on the website at the moment so if you want it you will need to email direct. Hope this helps.

Please can anyone help me with sewing thick material and stopping stitches being skipped, I have no idea about tension or altering it. I have an Elna Experience 570a sewing machine. There is a ballpoint needle in it which I have recently changed, I have cleaned out all the fluff from under the spool compartment and even tried manually turning the wheel over the handles of a bag. I am at a loss and would love some advice from a member. Thanks Sheila

Didn?t manage to catch Debbie live yesterday as was at a wedding - can anyone tell me if the hanging fish on Debbie?s wall behind her are a mid month project ? Been looking for easy to follow pattern and template for ages !
Laura replied: 16 Jun 24 at 16:53
I think that they were made by Debbie?s design team to showcase her new fabric. She hasn?t mentioned that she will be making them as a HYSC project.

Hi I would like some help please!!! I've made the large tote in tapestry fabric but wanted to do it in faux leather. However, got the fabric ready to use but have fold marks on it. Tried using steam placed heavy items on it but still hasn't removed the lines. I have 5 mtrs in different colours so can't use it unless you ladies can advise me??? Thanks

When making bags I am struggling with the handles. How do you sew through what is often several layers and make them look neat and secure? I have tried using a walking foot and also a jeans type needle. I usually feel like my machine is going to explode as it goes over the hump of the handles and it misses bits and generally the handles look very messy.

Thank you for all your replies. I will certainly give your suggestions a go.
