  Once you have placed the shells together as per Step 3 you are going to slip stitch the pieces together from the right side between the red line shown in the photograph on Step 3.   Thanks, that?s mine. It?s not perfect, hence I?ve not trimmed it yet, it?s wide and long enough but not bang straight so I?m going to wait till the end construction phase and see how it fits then. If I need to redo at that time I will but hand sewing is not my favourite thing.

  I have created a PDF of 6 clam shells of the same size as the template which means I only have to print 3 sheets of paper rather than 18! Is there anyway I can share this with other members or if I email it to HYSC, could you put it up as another template. I've also measured the gap between each shell which is 1/2 an inch. I'll send it to HYSC anyway and see. I've attached an image just to show you though this won't be actual size, it's just to show members.

  You will be fine ..don?t use your best fabric scissors for cutting zips though.

  You will need half metre of the outer and lining fabrics as per the material list. The list says 19 x 44in (48 x 112cm) of outer fabric and 19 x 44in (48 x 112cm) of lining fabric and that is very close to half metre so I would lay out all of my pattern pieces to fit before cutting any fabric.
