just downloaded the top pattern released today, my pattern pieces go from a - d but in the instruction they go from a - e (size 16 - 32) it says the correct sizes on it but only 4 pieces across, is everyone else's like that?

I got there in the end, they didn't print out in the order I was expecting, i asked too soon!! Also fooled me as to why there was no 4a, 5a, 6a and 6b but I think I'm sorted now. Thanks everyone for your help xx

Hi everyone, Can someone help with today's new dressmaking pattern please? I'm between sizes 12-14 on the size chart but I'm a D cup. What do I do? I've not made many clothes, so I'm at a loss here.

Thanks for the reply and your help. I'll have a look at the finished garment measurements.

Please will someone help me. The blouse that Debbie had on today. Is there a pattern for it on this sewing club or on her shop site. Thank you
Debbie replied: 21 Jun 26 at 07:26
Hi Lindy Lou, That's not a pattern I'm afraid, it's a blouse I've had for a while, I think it may have been from Next but I really can't remember! Glad you liked it...

Anyone doing the block of the month, this months block after step 9 says it should be 5 1/2”, mine is 6 1/4”, do I need to trim it down 🤔
barb replied: 15 Jun 26 at 20:04
if you scroll down there are other posts about this. I wouldn't trim until you come to the making up stage.

About to make the batwing top with the jersey it was made up in. The piece is roughly a square so not sure which sides are the selvedge. It does stretch slightly more one way, is that the selvedge running either side of the fabric. Thank you.
Sparkles replied: 15 Jun 26 at 18:51
hi CB, Debbie has a sewing with Jersey Tutorial on you tube(approx 4 months ago) maybe worth a look, including the Batwing top with jersey tutorial. In answer to your query, yes it is. hope this helps. I have sewn the Batwing top also with the same fabric Debbie uses I love it very comfortable ,very cool and feather lite to wear. I love the fabrics Debbie gets into her shop. happy sewing :)
